Lions, Tigers, Bears … oh my! The Movie Tavern located at 18605 E. Hampden Ave. in Aurora is featuring some of the greatest movies of all time. You can catch these flicks every other Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the end of 2017. Here’s the complete list of showings (for those of you who like to plan).

The Big Lebowski
Year: 1998
Why it’s a classic: Aside from being a cult film, the Library of Congress added The Big Lebowski to the National Film Registry in 2014.

Why it’s a classic: It’s a comedy horror blend that leaves everyone in awe with an astounding cast and timeless humor that’s perfect for the Halloween season.

Year: 1988
Why it’s a classic: It’s the ultimate underdog hero movie complete with explosions, guns, and everything you’d expect in an 80’s action film.

Why it’s a classic: Actor, Will Ferrell, goes on an adventurous quest to find his dad in NYC. His goofy yellow tights are just the cherry on-top of a modern family-classic holiday flick.

Christmas Vacation
Year: 1989
Why it’s a classic: Aside from its quotable punchlines, this Christmas comedy leaves everyone laughing as luck turns from bad to worse.

Why it’s a classic: This long-time American holiday classic has all the singing and dancing of a musical combined with the comedy of a film. Not to mention, it’s been around for over 50 years!
