John Fabiano | Q3 Far From Ordinary Award Winner 2018

October 11, 2018

Visit Aurora is proud to announce John Fabiano, Valet Guest Services Associate with Towne Park, as the winner of the quarterly Far From Ordinary Award of Excellence.

Fabiano has worked for Towne Park, the official valet company of Hyatt Regency Aurora Denver Conference Center, since October 2016 and has a knack for kindness that goes beyond expectations.

“I’ve always considered myself an ambassador of goodwill,” said Fabiano excitedly. “We’re the first people seen coming in and out of the hotel. I always try to remember that and make their stay memorable,” he said.

Nominator, Diallo Anderson, put it best. “John is one of the most caring and giving individuals I’ve ever worked with, he always finds a way to connect with guests and make their visit unforgettable,” said Anderson.

The Hyatt Regency Aurora Denver Conference Center sits adjacent to the Colorado Children’s Hospital and Fitzsimons Medical Campus. Many hotel guests are having surgical procedures or supporting family members, which makes traveling stressful. Fabiano has been known to give bobbleheads to children traveling for medical reasons; bringing excitement back into their day.

“I’m in a position to put a smile on people’s faces,” said Fabiano. He even makes a special effort to get to know frequent guests by greeting them at the front door or asking them about their day.

“The most impressive part is John doesn’t do this for recognition, that is just the type of person he is,” said Anderson.

To Fabiano, his most important role revolves around the new faces and families he meets. “The best part is putting a smile on somebody’s face after they’ve had a bad day. It just makes life easier for everyone,” said Fabiano.
