Summer has come to an end but that doesn’t mean the fun stops! Here’s our list of things to do in Aurora this September. From beer fest to museums, find what you’re looking for.

COCKPIT DEMO DAY AT WINGS OVER THE ROCKIES
When: Saturday, Sept. 8
Where: Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum | get directions
Cost: General Admission for adults is $15

See if you have what it takes to fly! Climb aboard select aircraft, including an F-111 Aardvark, at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum for Cockpit Demo Day. Settle into the cockpit with authentic controls and more as you discover flying from a pilot’s perspective. Tickets for general admission for adults and kids can be viewed here.

DOGS AND DONUTS AT THE HIGH LINE CANAL
When: Saturday, Sept. 8 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Where: The Highline Canal Near Community College of Aurora | get directions
Cost: Free!

Wake up early and make your way to the High Line Canal with your dog in toe. The first annual Dogs + Donuts will meet near the Community College of Aurora to enjoy free coffee, donuts, and breakfast burritos. Take in the early morning air as you walk around the two-mile loop compete with points of interest along the historic DeLaney Community Farms. Don’t forget your leash!

STANLEY ARTS FESTIVAL
When: Saturday, Sept. 8 – Sunday, Sept. 9
Where: Stanley Marketplace | get directions
Cost: Free!

Enjoy local and national art, kid activities, and live entrainment at the 2018 Stanley Arts Festival. Each year, artists from around Aurora and beyond showcase their artistic creations to the public. From metalwork and photography to jewelry and drawing, there’s a variety for viewing! Families are encouraged to bring their children, there’s plenty of interactive installations and kid-friendly activities at the Creation Station throughout the weekend.

ATTEND THE KENTUCKY CYCLE AT VINTAGE THEATRE
When: Saturday, Sept. 8 through Sunday, Oct. 21
Where: The Vintage Theatre | get directions
Cost: $32

Settle in for a two-part series at the Vintage Theatre that will have you examining our country’s past. Follow along as three families in eastern Kentucky evolve throughout history in this fast-paced American-epic. YOGA AND COFFEE AT JUBILEE
When: Saturday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 29
Where: Jubilee Roasting Co. | get directions
Cost: $10

Channel your inner yogi and enjoy a hot brew at Jubilee Roasting Co.’s Let It Fall Away Yoga Series. $10 gets you a professional yoga session and a cup of in-house roasted coffee. Remember to bring your own yoga mat. Sessions begin at 1:30 PM sharp and more info can be found here.

COMPLETE THE AURORA BREWERY TOUR
When: Now – Wednesday, Oct. 31
Where: 8 craft beverage taprooms in Aurora
Cost: Free! (a purchase must be made at each taproom)
