Tasty Mexican

Molcajete Mexican Restaurant

1911 S. Havana St.Aurora, CO

Between the flautas, enchiladas, and tostadas – you’ll probably end up ordering all three! Operating in Aurora for more than 20 years, Molcajete has been deemed an Aurora classic by many locals. Stop by for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, or dinner to enjoy a different variety of Mexican cuisine and beverages. Their homemade sauces, salsas and seafood dishes are just the start of this expansive menu. Oh, and their margaritas are a must!

Tacos La Morenita

15493 E Hampden AveAurora, CO

If you’re looking for something off the beaten path, Tacos La Morenita is for you. This laid-back taco shop is everything but flavorless. Diners enjoy street tacos in authentic flavors like pork, chicken, and even beef tongue! Aside from tacos, enjoy a smothered burrito or green chile nachos amongst other Colorado-Mexican favorites. We recommend bringing a friend (or two) to help you try everything on the menu. You’ll be stuffed, but totally satisfied.

La Cueva

9742 E Colfax Ave,Aurora, CO

When it comes to Mexican cuisine, no one does it quite like La Cueva. They’ve been around for decades (since 1974 to be precise) and have stood the test of time amongst the metro’s “trendy” restaurants. Enjoy hand-crafted dishes like the Haga Su Taco or Filete de Pescado. They’re open breakfast, lunch, and dinner (just not on Sundays) and stay true to their Colorado roots by offering lots of dishes with green chile!

Flavorful Chinese

P & Y Café

2769 S Parker Rd.Aurora, CO

You can really have it all at P & Y Café. Diners looking to enjoy Chinese-American classics, like Sesame Chicken and Fried Rice will not leave disappointed. While those looking for a little more authentic flavor are welcome to try the Jjajangmyun (Black Bean Noodles) or Seafood Jjhangpong (Spicy Korean-Chinese seafood soup). This café is filled to the brim with tasty flavors and a wide variety of dishes! Tucked away near H-Mart, inspired diners can even scope out ingredients to make recreations of P & Y Café dishes.

Formosa Garden

16645 E. Smoky Hill RdAurora, CO

This is the location to satisfy all your Chinese-American food cravings. Their favorably priced menu is just one of the many things that keep locals coming back. Egg Drop Soup, General Tso Chicken, and Beef Lo Mein are standouts with just a glance at the menu. Not interesting in dining-in? No problem, you can order delivery as well. Order extra so you can enjoy it later too!

Authentic German

Helga’s German Restaurant & Deli

14197 E. Exposition AveAurora, CO

Step into the ‘Old World’ that is Helga’s German Restaurant & Deli. Helga’s is a diner deli combination that’s bound to make you say ‘noch ein bier bitte!’ (another beer please!). Diners rave about their Rahm Schnitzel and Bratwurst Sandwiches. In true deli-fashion, step up to the counter and order a specialty sandwich with more than a dozen meat options, including Liverwurst for the true lover of German cuisine. If you’re in for the long haul, enjoy a selection of German beer with your meal and catch a live performance inside the restaurant. If you’re short on time, take a stroll through their deli and pick up some potato salad or a bratwurst for the road!
