With the holidays behind us, now’s time to enjoy all things winter. From the 80s vs 90s Dance at Wings Over the Rockies to Stanley After Dark, discover what Aurora has to offer this month.

Haykin Family Cider 2nd Anniversary Party
When: Feb. 1
Where: Haykin Family Cider

Sip on something bubbly at Haykin Family Cider’s 2nd Anniversary Party. This admission-free celebration is located in their trendy taproom near Stanley Marketplace. Guests can enjoy a variety of on-tap ciders and rose alongside special cider releases and bottle sales. The party starts at 5:00 PM.

80s vs 90s Dance
When: Feb. 15
Where: Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum

Dance the night away during an all-out themed 80s vs 90s party at Wings Over the Rockies. This award-winning event includes live music, three DJs spinning tracks from decades past, snacks, and more. Head over to the cash bar to grab a drink before playing a vintage arcade game. Or enjoy the silent disco with some friends. This event promises to be all that and a bag of chips! Admission is $35 online and $40 at the door.

Paint the Ice
When: Feb. 2
Where: Southlands

Celebrate the last ice skating day of the 2019-2020 season with Southlands’ Paint the Ice event. Leave your mark on the rink with provided paints and skate to the tunes of a live DJ starting at 6:00 PM. While there is a small admission fee, your pass includes ice painting, DJ skating, and selfie wall.

Stanley After Dark
When: Feb. 8
Where: Stanley Marketplace

You might have explored Stanley Marketplace, but have you seen it after hours? Open from 8:00 PM to midnight, hop over to Stanley for late-night eats, cocktails, craft beer, and ice cream from locally loved on-site vendors. Grab a taco at Comida or do a little chocolate tasting at Miette et Chocolat. Visitors are also encouraged to shop around at nearly every business. Take part in the Free Silent Disco happening all evening in the community area with headphones provided. This admission-free event gives visitors and locals alike the chance to discover a different side of Stanley.

Galentine’s Sip & Shop 2020
When: Feb. 8
Where: Town Center at Aurora

Grab your friends and explore the Galentine’s event happening at the Town Center at Aurora. This admission-free event will have makeup tutorials, hair styling stations, sweet treats, and mocktails. Walk around and do a little shopping or stay near the event venue and listen to the live band.

Kid’s Space Odyssey Aurora Symphony Concert
When: Feb. 16
Where: The Hangar at Stanley

Let your family explore the sounds of classic sci-fi movies and space collections with the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. This admission-free program features musical selections from Star Wars, Also Sprach Zarathustra and Star Trek to Apollo 13, and more! Stop by The Hangar a little early and stop by the activity tables for fun and educational make-and-take projects for the kids before the show begins.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday, why not spend the weekend in Aurora? Schedule a couple’s massage at Relache Spa & Salon at Gaylord Rockies or Massage Green Spa in Southlands. Do a little chocolate tasting and wine pairing at the Wine Experience Café and World Cellar or pick up a last-minute gift at Southlands. Try something new in Aurora! As Colorado’s third-largest city, there are dozens of boba tea shops you can try during your visit. The best news? Each shop has something a little different to enjoy.
