Zoo Lights - Conservation: Illumination

When it comes to holiday magic, you can always count on Zoo Lights—where natural wonders take on a new light. This year, the newest installations illuminate nature’s brilliant animation with enchanting additions like Aurora Borealis, Savannah Sunset, and Electric Jungle. As you wander through the winter wonderland, keep an eye out for nightly ice-carving demonstrations, cozy fire barrels, and festive holiday food and drink!

Dalí Alive

Want to explore the trees of Mary Jane and Eagle Wind? Looking to take on the steep terrain in the Cirque? Learn to ski or ride the mountain confidently from expert instructors during this one-day clinic focused on trees and steeps.

Cockpit Demo Day
When: JAN 14
Where: Air & Space Museum

Take your interest to the next level with a certification! This class will give you the information you need to obtain a CFR Part 107 Unmanned Small Aircraft Systems Pilot certification. This class meets for two hours twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The first class is on January 10th, 2023, and the last will be on March 30th, 2023.

RethinkAbility Vertical Feet Ski Challenge Sponsored by Arc'teryx
When: JAN 20
Where: Winter Park Resort

This ski event challenges individuals to ski or ride the most vertical feet at Winter Park Resort in one day. Pick a day from January 20th through February 10th and head to the slopes for some winter fun! Each challenger will have priority lift access during their challenge. This is your chance to support the National Sports Center for the Disabled and to reign supreme by skiing the most vertical feet in one day OR be the King or Queen of the slopes by raising the most money in the #RethinkAbility Ski Challenge!

Rescue Puppy Yoga
When: Jan 22
Where: The LUME Colorado

Stretch your limbs and realign your mind, body, and spirit while surrounded by new, never-before-seen themes, including Oceanic Dive, Tranquil Rainforests, and the awe-inspiring Magnificent Himalayas. Each week will feature a fresh, mesmerizing theme designed to immerse yogis into a calming and tranquil setting, along with beautiful matching soundtracks and THE LUME Colorado's signature aromas to ignite every sense.

Rotating Tap Comedy @ FlyteCo Tower

THE POND ICE RINK

The Pond at Southlands Shopping Center is still open throughout the whole month of January! Visitors can rent skates on-site and enjoy the ice underneath the twinkling lights. There is a small admission fee and remember to purchase tickets in advance.

Enjoy a Winter Hike

Enjoy a winter hike on their popular trails or enjoy a cup of coffee on one of the benches along the path. If you have a mountain bike, it would also be a perfect place for a winter bike ride. After fresh snow, consider packing your snowshoes for a hiking adventure.

Date Night at Create Kitchen & Bar

Your professional chef instructor will help you whip and sauté a delicious 3-course meal as you enjoy perfectly paired wines or signature cocktails. And when it’s all done, you can relax and enjoy your meal!
