Stop by the community area inside Stanley for a live art-making experience. Monterroso, a trained painter and flamenco dancer, uses his feet and beats to create abstract paintings. Learn more here.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY WEEKEND

Where: Dry Dock Brewing Co. South Dock and Peak to Peak Tap & Brew

When: Saturday, March 16

Celebrate March’s biggest holiday at one of Aurora’s local breweries. Dry Dock will feature food from The Wing Hut, The Michael Collin’s Pipes and Drums as well as Irish Dancers. FREE COMEDY SHOW AT STANLEY

Where: Stanley Marketplace

When: Wednesday, March 20

Enjoy an evening of laughter at Stanley’s free comedy show. Hear from amateur comics, grab a beverage, and prepare for fun. The show contains adult content, so make it a date night and leave the kiddos at home. Learn more about the performers here.

SPRING MASTERWORKS AURORA SYMPHONY

MONDO MARKET SUPPER CLUB

KICK OFF WITH THE COLORADO RAPIDS’ SOCCER

With matches happening at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park nearly every weekend in March, bring the family along to enjoy the start of the spring soccer season. The Colorado Rapids face off against the Sporting Kansas City on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17). With tickets ranging from $29 to $80 per person, the Colorado Rapids also have special deals for groups, game promotions, and plan packages. HIKE AROUND AURORA

March brings warmer temperatures, more sunshine, and easily accessible trails for hiking. Enjoy the Rocky Mountain air by hiking a handful of these trails around the city. Check out our trail suggestions. These trails range from easy to moderate and include different variations for every hiker. If you’re looking for a cluster of trails, head over to Cherry Creek State Park for the afternoon. With more than 20 mapped trails and unobstructed mountain views, it’s a hiker’s dream.

VISIT THE AURORA HISTORY MUSEUM

Spend a day learning about Aurora’s past at the history museum. This admission-free museum is open to the public, great for kids, and has a vintage trolley trailer for you to check out.
