Food Truck Rodeo
When: Oct. 4
Where: Aurora Municipal Center

Enjoy local eats from different food trucks during the monthly Food Truck Rodeo. Hosted by the City of Aurora, head over to the Municipal Center building from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM to enjoy eats ranging from BBQ and sushi to cheese fries and salads. All food truck will be parked in the same place, making trying different lunches easy.

Choctobefest
When: Oct. 12
Where: Arapahoe County Fair & Event Center

Come and enjoy a variety of delicious chocolates at this family-friendly event. Munch on candies, cookies, cakes, truffles, fudge, brownies, toffees – all chocolate flavored. In addition to eats, there will be games and cooking demos. Bring the kids for the free Halloween craft table and green screen photo booth. Oktoberfest Party at Peak
When: Oct. 12
Where: Peak to Peak Tap & Brew

Spend the day celebrating German culture while sipping a locally brewed beer. Oktoberfest Party at Peak to Peak Tap & Brew is a celebration of the season. Enjoy pints of handcrafted beer, on-site food, and other festivities including live music. Attendees will have space to dance and drink at the flagship location on Iliff Avenue. There is no admission pricing to attend this event, it is pay as you go.

Dry Dock’s 14er Beer Festival
When: Oct. 19
Where: Dry Dock Brewing Company-North Dock

Aurora’s oldest brewery, Dry Dock Brewing Company is hosting their 14th-anniversary party this month. This year’s theme, “14er” is an ode to Colorado’s famous 14,000 ft. peaks. Guests can enjoy a rock-climbing wall, flash tattoos, live music, and food trucks alongside lawn games and a bonfire with smores! Conception Art Show
When: Oct. 24
Where: The Hangar at the Stanley

Connect with art, build an experience, and watch as pieces come to life. The Conception Art Show is a national immersive exhibit only available in 12 cities across the county. Hosted at The Hangar at Stanley, guests can enjoy pieces from 40 different local artists with the opportunity to purchase pieces for their home. This ticketed event includes a cash bar, complimentary appetizers, and mingling with professional artists.

2019 Symphony Spooktacular
When: Oct 26
Where: The People’s Building

Celebrate the spooky season with a live symphony performance geared towards kids. Hosted by The People’s Building, wear your Halloween costumes and arrive early to test out some of the instruments before the show. The two-hour show will feature music from beloved Halloween classics as well as family-friendly classics. Purchase your tickets early to avoid general admission pricing.

Pumpkin Patch Adventures
Check visiting a pumpkin patch off your Fall to-do list. Colorado is filled with local farms and businesses eager to celebrate the season. Nick’s Garden Center & Farm Market offers pumpkin picking, a straw maze, and many more activities fit for the whole family. Nick’s is also home to a local food market, including seasonal treats like candy apples and apple cider. Halloween Trick-or-Treating

There is no shortage of Halloween-themed events happening this season in Aurora. Let the kids enjoy trick-or-treating in their costumes at Southlands on Oct. 26 and Stanley Marketplace on Oct. 27. Both locations are hosting official Halloween events designed to bring everyone together to celebrate the season while grabbing candy from local businesses. Also hosted at the Stanley Marketplace, Coloween – an adult Halloween Party that will turn the entirety of Stanley Marketplace into a spooky fright complete with DJs, performances, and a costume contest with a grand prize of $1,500. This ticketed event includes unlimited drinks and more.
