Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Elena studied Hotel & Restaurant Management with a minor in Art History at Northern Arizona University. She’s spent over 10 years in hospitality, starting out in banquets and working her way up. In 2019, she landed in Colorado and hasn’t stopped exploring since, whether it’s camping, hiking in the mountains, taking road trips, or discovering new places with her dog Otto along for the ride.
A self-proclaimed beer enthusiast, she loves checking out local breweries. Launchpad in Aurora is a favorite, and she’s always up for a trip to Left Hand Brewing, 4 Noses Brewing, and Broken Compass Brewing (to name a few). Bonus points if there’s a food truck nearby. When she’s not sipping local brews, you can find her cheering on the Denver Nuggets or the San Francisco 49ers.
A foodie and creative spirit, sushi and Italian are at the top of her list. She loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and she’s a regular at Katsu Ramen and Tacos El Metate. She also enjoys gardening, crafting, volunteering in her community, and catching live concerts whenever she can. And, naturally, no morning starts right without a cup of coffee from French Press Cafe & Bakery in hand.
“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”
