Aurora Public Library and Rebel Marketplace are bringing a neighborhood farmers market to Hoffman Heights Library! Shop local community vendors, enjoy library programs, and explore late-night library hours from 6–8 p.m. Activities include storytimes, kids’ play areas, and a teen game space, making it fun for all ages!

Market in the Park brings the Aurora Highlands community together for a vibrant outdoor experience filled with local shopping, delicious food, live music, and family-friendly fun. Guests can explore artisan vendors, enjoy farmers market favorites, take a ride on the Winged Melody Park carousel, and connect with neighbors in a beautiful park setting. Summer Yoga Series: Silent Disco

Where: West Patio, Stanley Marketplace
Find your flow with a unique outdoor yoga experience at Stanley Marketplace, where an all-levels class is paired with a personal Silent Disco soundtrack for a peaceful and immersive practice. Whether you're new to yoga or have years of experience, you'll enjoy a welcoming morning of movement, music, and community in a beautiful open-air setting. Bring your own yoga mat, and if you need it, child care is available through Curious Jane so you can focus on your practice.

Sounds of Southlands

Southlands is back with Sounds of Southlands. Occurring every Thursday of the month, Sounds of Southlands is a fun event where you can sit back and enjoy local talent while enjoying the summer breeze. Bring your lawn chairs, grab some Fro Yo from Tutti Frutti, and enjoy the jams on Town Square. Happening now until August 13th!
2026 Free DOTSERO Concert
When: August 25
Where: Stampede
Join On Havana Street for a free DOTSERO concert at The Stampede! Enjoy live Colorado jazz, dancing, and a fun night out. Music from 7–9 p.m. Tickets not required.

Aurora Pride

Colorado Diasporic Film Festival
When: August 6 - 9
Where: Aurora Fox
Experience a global celebration of storytelling during the Diasporic FilmHub Village Experience. This year's programming features 13 student projects and 11 first-time filmmakers, highlighting emerging voices exploring themes of identity, migration, culture, family, memory, justice, and belonging. Visitors can also explore a vibrant network of cultural huts throughout the Aurora Cultural Arts District, where film, food, music, art, technology, and cultural exchange come together. Showcasing stories connected to countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond, the festival brings diverse cinematic perspectives and international creativity to Colorado audiences while celebrating Aurora's rich multicultural community.

Southlands Farmer's Market
When: August 1 - 29
Where: Southlands
Embrace the summer season with a trip to Southland’s Annual Farmer’s Market. Shop local with fresh produce, handmade artisan goods, and more!
Water Activities
Soak up the sun on a sailboat or head out for paddleboard yoga at dusk. If you have your own kayak or canoe, check out Quincy Reservoir! Otherwise, the Aurora Reservoir has on-site paddleboard, canoe, and kayak rentals. Visitors can also use non-motorized boats on the water. If you’re looking for tubing or water skiing, head to Cherry Creek State Park. They have on-site paddleboard, kayak, canoe, and boat rentals.
Biking and Hiking
There’s no better way to experience the beauty of summer than by biking or walking through Aurora's scenic trails and vibrant parks. From the winding paths at Cherry Creek State Park to the peaceful stretches of the High Line Canal Trail, Aurora offers a variety of routes perfect for everyone of all skill levels.
