Backyard Sessions at Stanley | Second Sunday of each month util September 8

Every second of the month until September, jam on with a fun market at Stanley's Backyard Sessions, presented by Visit Aurora and Bonefire Event Co.! This popular summer series promises ultimate family fun while supporting Colorado makers, vendors, and more. Shop, dine, dance, and enjoy multiple activities, including yard games, splash pads, and more! 

Film on the Field | Last Saturday of each month until September 28

Come watch a movie under the stars! Stanley Marketplace is bringing outdoor movie nights to the Field at Stanley. The "Film on the Field" series, presented by Visit Aurora, will run every second Sunday of the month from July through September. This event is free. Sounds of Southlands | Every Thursday until August 8

Sounds of Southlands is back for the summer season! Occurring every Thursday of the month, sounds of Southlands is a fun event to sit back and enjoy local talent while enjoying the summer breeze. Don't forget to bring your lawn chair or picnic blankets! 

Southland's Farmer's Market | Every Saturday until August 10

Embrace the summer season with a trip to Southland's weekly Farmer's Market. Shop local with fresh produce, handmade artisan goods, and more!

Southlands Summer Fitness Series | Every Wednesday until August 14

Get active this summer with Southland's Summer Fitness series! This fun series brings the community together to sweat it out and offers free complimentary fitness classes by Southland's fitness experts on Town Square! Join instructors leading classes from pilates, yoga, circuit, shadow boxing, HIIT, and more! Class size is limited, so make sure you sign up!

Rebel Marketplace's 5th market season has begun! Occuring until August 17, visitors shop from amazing local vendors, including fresh produce, handmade goods, art, and other unique finds!

Soak in the Sun at a Spray Park

Sizzling summer days call for a trip to the playgrounds! Bring the kiddos to refresh from the heat at Great Plains Park. The park features an outdoor waterpark, picnic area, baseball diamonds, sports field, and hiking trails. Whether you want to get out and stretch your legs or let the kiddos cool off, Great Plains Park is the perfect free activity to add to your summer itinerary.

Southlands Splash Pad | Directions

Keep the kiddos cool with a trip to Southlands Splash Pad! After a successful shopping day, check out the water fountains at Town Square. Relax in the shaded areas while the kids keep busy and entertained. 

COLORADO FREEDOM MEMORIAL

The Colorado Freedom Memorial pays tribute to our country's heroes. This free-to-enter memorial is unique in that it honors all Colorado veterans, regardless of rank or conflict. Look for names or take a tour around the grounds; you might even catch a glimpse of the F-16 fighter jets passing by.

Aurora History Museum

The Aurora History Museum houses some of the city's earliest antiquities as well as the historical components that make the city great. Visitors can take self-guided tours while seeing rotating and permanent exhibits from Tuesday to Sunday. The fully restored 1913 railway trolley is a must-see!

2024 Aurora Rhythms

The 2024 Aurora Rhythms series is here, and you can join in the fun every month! Occurring from June to December, these free concerts will take place in different areas of the city and feature various musical talents and genres!
