26th Annual Festival of Wreaths Opening and Fundraiser

Step into the Aurora History Museum for the 26th Annual Festival of Wreaths Fundraiser, where the perfect blend of creativity and holiday spirit awaits! As the community gathers, the gallery opening promises to enchant, showcasing the festive wreaths thoughtfully crafted by the talented members of the Aurora community. Guests can mingle and revel in the festive entertainment while taking a leisurely stroll through the gallery, all while exploring the Aurora History Museum. This year's proceeds will contribute towards the museum's exhibits and educational programs, with a focus on increasing internships!

Veterans Salute

Celebrate Veteran's Day with the City of Aurora's annual Veteran's Salute! Guests can enjoy musical performances, a sit-down lunch, and a ceremony with the Buckley Color Guard, all while honoring our veterans!

Calling all retired and active military veterans to celebrate Veteran's Day with free admission to the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum and Exploration of Flight location. Present a valid military ID upon entry to receive your discount!

Prehistoric Eras Tour

To complement their Prehistoric Aurora exhibit, the Aurora History Museum is thrilled to host a six-part Prehistoric Eras Tour! ICE! Featuring How the Grinch Stole Christmas!™

This holiday season, Gaylord Rockies Resort transforms into a frosty wonderland as 2 million pounds of ice get hand carved into stunning sculptures for ICE!. The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society's Production of "A Christmas Carol"

In a festive mood, the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society mount another assault on the classics with their stage version of “A Christmas Carol.” The Fox will welcome some of the true “grandes dames” of the Colorado theatre community to the stage for this hilarious, nonstop journey into a holiday show gone utterly and madly wrong.

Veterans Day is November 11th, but you can honor our military veterans all month long by visiting the Colorado Freedom Memorial. The memorial provides a space of beauty and reverence where family and comrades can find peace in the memory of lost loved ones.

Small Business Saturday on November 29

The heartbeat of our vibrant city lies in its small businesses. Whether you're kickstarting your holiday shopping or indulging in a handcrafted local treasure, the entire month offers you this delightful opportunity.
