LuBird's Light Playground at Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, Colorado, is a one-of-a-kind inclusive play space designed for children of all abilities to play side by side. Created by the LuBird's Light Foundation, the 9,000-square-foot playground features smooth, wheelchair-accessible surfacing, adaptive swings, sensory play panels, and bright, imaginative equipment that encourages movement and connection. Built to honor a child named Lucia ("LuBird") born with a rare condition, the playground is both a joyful and meaningful addition to Aurora, providing a safe, barrier-free environment where everyone can experience the magic of play-just steps from Stanley Marketplace's shops, restaurants, and family-friendly amenities.
