Join us on Saturday, November 1st as we honor the spirits of the past with a unique blend of the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos and All Souls Day from the Slavic region.
La victoria healing kitchen will be transformed into a sacred space, adorned with elements that bridge both worlds. Imagine flickering candlelight, vibrant marigolds, intricate papel picado, and subtle, respectful nods to both spectral charm and ancestral reverence. It’s a space designed for reflection, connection, and a touch of joyful mystery.
Sip on our specially crafted “Elixir of Remembrance,” a warming and comforting blend of Cacao, Marigold, and a hint of Cinnamon and Chili. This unique brew will evoke both the comforting sweetness of tradition and the fiery spirit of remembrance. Indulge in traditional Pan de Muerto and other sweet treats, alongside a vibrant and refreshing Hibiscus and Orange Blossom Agua Fresca, offering a taste of comforting familiarity and bright celebration. Enjoy a selection of small plates and seasonal flavors with your teas as you receive your tea leaf reading by hostess Lynn Flanagan-Till.
We invite you to come dressed in attire that honors your heritage or embraces the spirit of the season – whether it’s a touch of elegant macabre, traditional calavera makeup, or simply colors that evoke the autumn harvest. This is an evening to share stories, remember those who came before us, and connect with the profound beauty of life’s cycles.
Don’t miss this poignant and spirited gathering at our Ancestors’ Tea!
