Aurora Rhythms 2024: War of the Worlds Live Radio Play
A handful of professional actors portray all the roles and produce all the live sound and music for these live radio shows originally broadcast during the heyday of live radio from 1930-1955.
From the historic, somewhat infamous original October 1938 broadcast adapted from H.G. Wells ‘s novel. So realistic to the listening audience, the broadcast created a panic. Many people thought that the earth was under attack by Martian invaders, thanks to the pseudo-documentary storytelling style of the broadcast. Join us if you dare.
