Centennial House is a Queen Anne Victorian style home. It is the oldest of the nine remaining houses Donald Fletcher built for his speculative community east of Denver. Like all Fletcher homes, it has indoor plumbing and an upstairs bathroom, a luxury considering both the time period and the arid surroundings. The City of Aurora purchased the house in 1990 and community members restored it for the City’s Centennial year. Come tour inside the house! We will have snacks and lawn games. Select the ticket for the day that works for you.
Come on June 30th or September 7th to walk around a block of Galena St. with Aurora's historic preservation specialist and learn about what the city was like over 100 years ago. Neighborhood walking tours leave at 9:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m on January 30th. There is no neighborhood architecture tour on Saturday August 3rd. The tours will leave at 2:15 and 3:45 p.m. on September 7th.
Please reserve a ticket for the day you would like to attend.
