Doug Good Feather will join us at Aurora History Museum to bless indigenous artifacts on loan from Ken Roberts and share traditional Lakota stories and wisdom.
Doug Good Feather is originally from the Standing Rock Lakota Nation and is a descendant of Grandpa Chief Sitting Bull. He is a native Lakota speaker, Veteran, Actor, Cultural Ambassador, Grammy Award-Winning Singer, Author, Pow Wow Fancy Dancer, and Father.
His work at the nonprofits Spirit Horse Nation and Lakota Way Healing Center is focused on community-based solutions to addiction, trauma, and PTSD. His book, "Think Indigenous," is about finding interconnected and spiritual relationships with those around us through indigenous thinking.
