Learn to Lindy Hop in a Day

Here’s your chance to learn Lindy Hop, the dance that sprung from Black culture in Harlem during the 1920s-40s! On August 7, over the course of 3.5 hours, Swingin’ Denver instructors will guide you through basic Lindy Hop figures, Charleston, and more at the People’s Building.

Time: 10:30am-3:00pm, with a 60 minute break around 12:00pm for drink(s) and food in the neighborhood. We’ll restart at 1:00pm and finish with a 30 minute dance party at 2:30pm so you can practice everything you learned!

Location: The People’s Building, 9995 E Colfax Ave, Aurora, CO 80010 in the East Colfax neighborhood.
