The Lowry Foundation and the Hangar Club present Lowry's first Independence Parade and Festival in partnership with Lowry United Neighborhoods (LUN) and sponsored by Clark's Market Lowry 2023 Star Partnership and the Lowry Community Master Association (LCMA). Join in the family fun on the Fourth of July weekend, Saturday, July 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Great Lawn Park, Lowry Boulevard and Yosemite Street.
Food trucks will be serving brunch and drinks for purchase, and you can enjoy live music by Byron Shaw Projex (BSP Is kinda like Bob Marley meets Prince at a Carlos Santana Concert with George Clinton). Picnic in the grass with us and enjoy the morning before BBQs and fireworks at night.
This fun-filled, family-oriented event is sure to bring smiles to faces of all ages. As part of the celebration, we have organized various activities. There will be a one-mile community parade around Great Lawn Park with participants wearing costumes, riding decorated bikes, pulling decorated wagons, pushing decorated strollers, and/or walking costumed dogs. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and decorations.
