The Revolutionists
The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson, produced by 11 Minutes Theatre Company, is a witty, empowering, and contemporary comedy that takes place during the French Revolution. Set in 1793 Paris, it follows four fierce, badass women - Olympe de Gouges, a passionate revolutionary playwright; Marianne, a spy and determined rebel for the rights of all; and the famous Charlotte Courday and Marie Antoinette.
These women must navigate their roles in a time of political and social upheaval. With incredible humor, passion, and courage, these women challenge societal norms and fight for the liberation of the oppressed amidst the chaos of revolution.
