Dante's Wingferno is an elite wing-eating competition whose goal is to raise money for the Firefighters of Aurora Benevolent Fund. Competitors ask their family, friends, and community to support their sacrifice. The challenge is to raise funds on a per-wing basis and eat all the nine wings that make up the challenge on the day of the event. Denver Zoo is offering seven Community Free Days throughout 2023 for anyone in the community. To provide the best experience for all guests, they offer a limited number of tickets for each Free Day, using an online lottery system. Anyone who wants to attend a Free Day must register online during the open lottery period for a chance to obtain up to five vouchers for its corresponding Free Day.
