The Season 41 opener at the Aurora Fox, Waiting for Godot, follows two wandering tramps, Vladimir and Estragon, as they pass the time beside a lonely tree, waiting for the arrival of the mysterious Mr. Godot. In a world where time, place, and memory blur, they hope that Godot will somehow change their lives. Instead, they encounter two eccentric travelers, one bound to the other by a rope, upending expectations and deepening the absurdity. By turns hilarious and heartbreaking, Waiting for Godot remains one of the great achievements of the Western dramatic canon, brought vividly to life in a bold new production at the Aurora Fox.
